Year on year, the Canadian veteran steps up his commitment to the IndyCar Series with his own team, Roth Racing. In 2004-'05, he competed only at Indy; in 2006 he appeared at three races; last year four, and this season he plans on entering two cars for the whole season, the second being for promising young gun, Jay Howard, the 2006 Indy Pro Series champion.
Before switching to auto racing in 1987, Roth raced bikes, even finishing 10th at Daytona Bikeweeks on a Kawasaki 1000.
